The Dark Magician Girl watched her Pharaoh from beyond the veil between worlds, watched him grow used to Yuugi’s body, and noticed that he spent a lot of his time brooding while the host slept. She could guess at what he was thinking about, wondering about his past.

But she still didn’t think he should be alone. Loneliness led to dark, sad thoughts, she knew that well enough, and she couldn’t bear to think of how he must feel, knowing nothing of who he was… That loneliness must be magnified tenfold.

But instead here she was jogging up stairs, which she almost fell over a couple times already. Didn't she have work in an hour??
