I don't take breaks. || determined-desperation
Slamming a fist into another stranger's face, Kat kept moving closer and closer to the edge of the roof. Sure it was dangerous and she could fall any second now, but she needed that file for SHIELD. Backing up dramatically, her opponent just sneered and was about to give her a shove when just dropped off.
Twisting around, bandage wrapped fingers whipped out a grappling hook gun, and she shot it at the next rooftop, swinging leather clad feet first and crashing through a window. Kat landed perfectly on her feet however, shaking the small twinkling glass out of her hair dramatically. "That never gets old," she muttered as she stood up, pulling her hair into a ponytail. Long leather jacket lapping at her feet, Kat twisted the camotech bracelet on her wrist once, and her SHIELD outfit shimmered into a blouse, blazer and pencil skirt. She needed to look professional to blend in. Shutting the door behind her as the left the room, Kat glanced around for Aldrich's office.Â
She picked up a couple of spare binders off a desk and walked tall, with confidence so nobody knew the truth. When the blonde finally found the office, she smirked, and twisted the doorknob first. Locked.Â
So the agent pulled a pin out of her hair, sticking it into the key slot and jiggling it a few times before it clicked audibly, granting the girl access to the office. She stepped in, glanced behind her once, and shut the door. Kat maneuvered to the desk at the end of the room, fingers touching the cold metal of the cabinet and giving it a light tug. Still locked. Rolling her eyes, Kat muttered something underneath her breath, and the electric lock holding it shut shorted out.Â
Her powers were so lovely sometimes. Callused fingers searched and sifted through the papers for what she was looking for. Ah. A smile spread on her face, and just as she was about to take the file out, the door handle jiggled. Her free hand dropped to her hidden holster.
