When I saw this, this idea immediately clicked in my brain. I drew Six at a more normal kid height. I love them so much.
I wanted to try something new ~ Conan in a POP (?) color style
Care to talk about shinichi's 'problematic' side? I love him so much but I hope they don't brush what he did off without considering the emotional state of the other party without one chapter at least of consequences! And you mentioned it before as well with the eisuke confession thing. He is the best lover in thoughts and actions (sans some where I felt so sorry for Ran) but sometimes doesn't consider that what he is doing isn't necessarily what the other side wants
Shinichi is… complicated. Most of what would be considered ‘problematic’ isn’t always his own thinking. Later it is, especially with something like Eisuke wanting to confess, but the other thing with Shinichi is that he actually makes a lot of emotional decisions more than logical, despite how people like to think he makes decisions.
Like, the biggest issue with Shinichi is he feels he can’t tell Ran anything about his situation. But Agasa put the idea that he couldn’t in her head, I honestly don’t know how it would have gone if Ran had appeared with just Shinichi there. He’d come to the decision that he needed to tell her before the desperate revival, but Haibara’s own fear for herself and attachments gave him another option. Multiple times he hasn’t shown the most reasonable thinking in his immediate decisions and it’s been someone else holding him back. Only later, when he has the time to think about it, does he really hold back and go the cautious and secretive route. I don’t know how much of that comes from himself and how much of it came from Agasa and Haibara prior to actually seeing the BO target Kogoro because of Shinichi’s interfering.
( I personally don’t think he has any real argument left. Ran pretty much told him during the desperate revival that she’d suspected Conan was him, and gave a reason that was similar to his actual situation. In hearing that, he knows Heiji would have been right. If she suspected that much, and never confronted him about it, she was waiting for him to confide in her. Another what if: If she’d confronted him about it with more causes for the suspicion, without someone around to deter her, I think Shinichi would have utterly panicked and tried to leave the room, and probably have ended up admitting the truth. Even if his life is a lie right now, he doesn’t do it well at all. )
His other issue of getting jealous prior to confessing and overall trying to block anyone (male) from getting close to Ran is far easier to see as his own personal problem. Yes, we know he loves her, and she loves him. He’s aware she likes him. But she wasn’t aware, and he was trying to preserve what he knew, and thus it turns controlling. Heiji is/was at least in denial for why he’s aggressively possessive with Kazuha, Shinichi knows full well his feelings and knows he’s blocking people from being with Ran because of them. He’s making his own call that she shouldn’t even be given the option because he believes he’s her choice. It makes me wish he’d gone through with his words of wanting her to be happy, even if it means it’s without him. After Araide ‘threat’, prior to Eisuke ‘threat’, prior to his confession.
Both issues stem from being protective of people without thinking about the fact that many people that he knows are fully capable of taking care of themselves. ( Normally, anyway. With Gosho, I’m having real fears of making a rescue story for any of the girls. He’s usually good about letting Ran kick butt when anyone tried to do anything to her, it’s more an issue in openings and movies giving that impression. It’s still a worry, though, that he’ll introduce someone she can’t beat for shock. )
Valentine's Day fanarts of 4 of my favorite ships. I wanted to add some pick-up lines under each couple but I scrapped it because I didn't know what to add. Anyway, enjoy some cuties being flirty, and...

Hi there! Thanks for liking 'Don't Call Me Sensei!' What did you like?
I actually find it both cute and funny. The concept of Ran teaching Shinichi karate is pretty cool, their interaction is hilarious and the ending is something I didn't expect to read but damn, I laughed at it.
the netflix conan dub is actually really good theyre so sillyyyyy
