“Stop.” He whispers, looking away from her. “I can’t.” He turns away from her, toeing at the ground. “If Voight finds out about us, he’ll kill us. You can do better anyway. I’m broken.”

oohh!!!  i don’t know this blog, but i am definitely following now !!!! 

“professor said that the first thing to do is put on a seatbelt. and then you start it. and then...” bubbles looked around at all the buttons and symbols. it’s not like she knew what any of them meant. she’s only been in a car in the backseat, when someone else was driving. how did they make this look so easy? “you use the prindl right? when do you use it exactly?” 

"Smash, of course."

Roy looked up from his files eyeing the woman in his flannel, "Cute? More like homeless." He smirked, tossing the papers aside as he leaned back in his chair, rocking backward on the back two legs. "Is that how I look in it too? Do I just walk around looking homeless all the time?" He frowned thinking it over in his head, the answer was probably yes. It wasn't that he particularly cared, it was just nice to be aware of. No wonder Ollie was always buying him clothes. Everything was starting to make sense now. "If it's any consolation though, you look like the cutest homeless person I've ever seen."

"I saw you looking up at the night sky once and figured I would just move the constellations to my body so you never have to worry about light pollution stopping you from seeing the stars." He tossed her a weak grin before tightening the bandage around his arm, making his best one-armed attempt to stop the bleeding until he could get home and toss a few stitches into the cut. He hadn't gotten a good look at the knife but based on the edges of his wound it definitely had a serrated blade. He was starting to wonder if Jason had a point about sleeves, it was a lot harder to get hurt when you had almost full body armor covering you. He just hated the extra bulk when using the bow. "Not to ruin the moment here but I'm starting to get a bit dizzy, can you drive... Home or... Wherever you wanna be."

"If that was playing dumb then... Never mind. What do you mean you always knew? What was there to always know?" He pushed his hat and sunglasses out of the way as he sat up to look at her. He'd perviously been very peacefully half sleeping in the sun while Lian played with the cat a few yards away. "You knew nothing about me until I told it to you, don't try and act like you knew." He laughed a little, grabbing her hand and pulling her into the grass beside him, "unless you're talking about this stupid little love thing we got tangled in, because in that case, I always knew as well."

Roy poked and prodded at the stitches that Oliver had put into his arm a few moments before. Despite how many times the man had shown him how to properly do the stitches he'd never been able to get them looking that neat, especially not on himself. "Don't go threatening me with a good time." He tossed her a grin before wincing as he poked a more tender area, "'sides, this isn't really life or death. This is more, my little sister is an idiot and shot me with an arrow instead of shooting past me." Roy wasn't entirely sure what Mia had been trying to accomplish, but he was almost certain that walking up behind him and shooting him while he was making Lian a snack hadn't been her original goal. "I promise if I decide to get killed then I'll let you be the one to finish me off okay?"
