Definitely a Joker blog that I hold a lot of respect for - it’s always really fun getting a lot at Joker’s innermost thoughts and vulnerability and I think they portray that part of him wonderfully.  Really just a Joker blog that I really enjoy and one I really hope to interact with more! Great Joker blog.

I think they’re a great Akechi - it’s definitely been interesting exploring a sort of dynamic that’s friends with benefits but they’re not even really friends? Like it’s very tense and yet there’s this sort of romantic tension between them and it’s just fun seeing all of the different elements and conflicting thoughts and feelings there and I attribute that entirely to just how wonderfully they write Akechi - I really like how they’re able to write out his conflicting thoughts and emotions and make him feel very true to form.  They’re a pleasure to write with.

Okay a bit late on this because I literally forgot this was in my inbox but yes I do! I have made several tumblr friends over the years that ended up being more than just tumblr friends. But I'll highlight the ones that I've made with my return!

@trio-of-tr0uble/ @tres-fidelis: Dani is an amazing writer and a fun as hell friend who is a mod for an rp/general server that I run! She's amazing and got me to look into MSA and I'm still amazed she made so much out of that. Plus I love her Makoto and Chie and Naoto! Maybe we'll do Futaba/Makoto jk or am I? But seriously Dani is the best and I always want to do stuff with her

@crossxskulled He's not super active currently but he's the one who inspired me to make this blog in the first place when I first returned! Amazing guy, amazing Ryuji. He's the standard in which I judge all Ryuji's really, in terms of writing. Love the rps that we've done and definitely want to do more.

@edgyearring Rachel's great! She's been through hell these past several months and I wish nothing but the best for her but she's great! Makes me want to push through and finish Persona 1 and 2 so I can say I've played all the games. Plus they also have a very fun Werewolf Akechi with @corvidmutt

@tricksteroffate Sev's on hiatus from tumblr rping right now but I still consider her a tumblr friend! She's also a mod on an rp/general server that I run! I can never get enough of her millions of Akiren AU's especially Decaf who I can't help but want to see simultaneously fixed and made worse at the same time XD. Great friend though!

@mirrorsoftheotherself Essent has an absolutely amazing Mirror AU thing and I love every aspect of it. Plus they are just a great rper and a fun writer! I definitely want to write more with them and see more of their stuff as it all gets fleshed out.

@tacitusauxilium We haven't talked much yet but I have this good feeling that once we do we're going to be good friends! I absolutely love their Fuuka and so far from the rps that we've done it's been an absolute blast! They're such a good writer and I think we're definitely going to be great friends!

@katsu-at-the-bottom Despite what they'll tell you they are a great writer! Another one that I need to talk to more and not let my ADHD riddled brain forget to respond to. Their OC is a lot of fun even if I want to punch them at times XD. But the back and forth between Futaba and him is always fun.

Late nights were ideal to work, while they did not have a lesser amount of tasks-  having to keep up with so many things was something he could do 24/7 if he so wished, the amount of disturbances nearby were much more reduced.

Or so he thought, while he could not hear the sizzle of a portal tearing through space right into his office, he saw it early on, simply... A little late for him to force it close, and through it, who he presumed was a human.

Masador remained silent for a moment, as if studying the other, before he spoke, deep and slow.

Closed starter for @detectivcprince | Goro Akechi

Cold, the gentle bite of the cool night's air was pleasant enough even with the putrid scent of bile and alcohol from the fools that passed through the alleyway; his alleyway in particular. The next person that so much as thinks of passing in between the old bricked buildings was sure to make for entertaining prey at the very least, that in of itself was a thought that brought a strange giddiness that warmed his belly and ribs. Keen senses honed over the years easily picked up on the hushed whispers of bystanders; how boring.

Seconds, minutes maybe? Everything felt far too long, each moment leaving the bandaged stranger more irritated as long fingers grip at the handle of his knife impatiently; kill, rip, tear and shred, destroy-- Black hair blocks his vision for merely a moment as the sounds of quiet footsteps quickly overwhelm his frenzied mind. Finally, someone stupid enough to walk into his domain, and judging from the sounds of the stranger's movement, they were quickly approaching.

Warm vanilla and cinnamon quickly floods his nose, were he not desperate for the delightful metallic scent there might be a chance he'd sit and enjoy the strange albeit comforting scent; Then brown and grey fill his vision and his fingers twitch and ache-! Patience Zack, patience. A deep breath, quiet as far as an inhale might go before he pushes himself off the wall, knife proudly swinging at his side while following this mystery man.

“Well isn't this just nice,” Gruff, just as he'd always sounded and yet the yellow of his eye gleamed with nothing but excitement as the corners of his lips tilt upwards ever so slightly. “Y'know, I was startin' to get bored off my ass thinking the people 'round here managed to wise up but here you are! Turn around, show me that face of yours before I rip you to shreds, show me your terror! But don't go worrying about it not being fair, I'll give you a three second start to run; Make this real fun for me won't cha?”

Proficiency in both ranged and deranged combat.

     Spending time with Goro might have seemed foolish to some, easily a risk given his status as a detective, but Akira didn’t see things so simply. He wasn’t just an enemy, he wasn’t just a friend; he was a person Akira genuinely wanted to get to know. There was someone fascinating beneath the princely mask, beneath the glitter and glamor carefully set into place for television. Something lurked beneath the surface that Akira realized could be dangerous, but if he cared he didn’t show it. A moth to a flame--or perhaps just a kindred spirit. 

     As perceptive as he was, Akira could never actually see Goro with clear eyes. There was always something obscured, something hidden, but all the same Akira believed there were true glimpses into the other’s nature. During their time together he had seen someone who liked to compete, who was incredibly intelligent and talented all the same. A boy whose logic had humbled him at chess, not to mention someone who could best him at a simple game of pool using his off hand. Goro was someone Akira wanted to befriend just as much as he was someone who pushed him to be better. 

     He was fascinating. 

     For the most part, Akira chose to stay silent and listen, allowing his companion to talk about anything and everything he wanted. Most of his relationships were built the same way, the quiet observer, only speaking when necessary. And yet his calm, reserved nature could not be mistaken for apathy. The moment he sensed danger he was ready to move, honed reflexes allowing him to act before the stranger that had accosted them. Without thinking he had pushed Goro to what he believed to be relative safety, his instinct to protect his friends superseding his own sense of self-preservation. Sharp eyes fixated on the drunken man staggering before him, hot anxiety prickling across his skin. The last thing he wanted was a fight--especially when the situation was so hauntingly familiar.

     Pulling himself out of his own memories, Akira turned his attention back to Goro, finally stepping away enough to give him room to move. The hand coming to rest against his arm helped further anchor him, and with a small jolt he realized he was actually shaking a little. At least it seemed as though this particular drunk didn’t possess the power to ruin anyone’s lives. From Akira’s perspective he didn’t even possess the power to stay on his feet for long. Goro was right: leaving him was the smartest option.
