My dad and stepmom have been destroying their Minecraft world for a few months now. They have a system set up, they take sections, clear it, then move onto the next section, keeping maps of each section numbered and everything.
They’re in creative mode, so they’re not scared of fall damage or breaking tools or even mobs. So their mobs are just kinda lurking around doing nothing. But they have to get rid of the water. And when they do that, the fish die and the drowned burn.
My dad, however, has a different explanation to their “disappearance”
“They’re teleporting.”
My dad believes(not really) that the mobs that die aren’t really dying, they’re teleporting and leaving “gifts” behind.
“Infinite world, infinite possibilities” - my dad.
So yeah. He keeps saying “oh look, it left a gift when it left!” And stuff like that. And sometimes we’ll playfully explain, “no, they died.” And he’s just like “but there’s no body? So they didn’t die, they’re teleporting just teleported. The fire is their teleportation activating.”
Why? Why dad? Why do you do this?!?
