Islam in the West is the Ring of Power in The Lord of the Rings

Everyone thinks they can handle it. They think they can use it, moderate it, integrate it, tame it, or negotiate with it.

The Ring serves only one master, and it is not the one wearing it. As long as the West thinks it can use Islam, Islam ends up using the West.

Just like the Ring amplifies the worst impulses of the one who carries it, Islam reshapes whatever institution allows it inside:

Human-rights language becomes a shield for illiberal politics. Free-speech norms become a platform for anti-free-speech doctrines.

Religious liberty becomes legal cover for parallel legal systems. Democracy becomes a staircase to end democracy.

This is the rule of the Ring: Whoever tries to wield it eventually becomes its servant.

Even the well-intentioned fall.

Especially the well-intentioned.

The West keeps trying different strategies:

"Support moderates, integrate communities, counter the extremists, not the ideology, dialogue will soften them, maybe they don’t really mean what they say, economic uplift will change their worldview, second and third generations will modernize."

Every one of these is the Council of Elrond arguing that maybe someone, somewhere, might use the Ring differently.

But Tolkien’s world and Islam world share the same truth:

You can't reform an object built for domination. You can't tame an ideology constructed for supremacy.

The Ring can't be debated, reasoned with, or negotiated into moderation.

It was forged for one purpose, and it retains that purpose regardless of who wears it.

Islam is the same.

The only way to destroy the Ring is to take it back to the place where it was forged, the fires of Mount Doom, and burn it in its original source.

The same is true for Islam:

You can't defeat it with counterterrorism alone. You can't defeat it with border policy alone.

You can't defeat it with intelligence operations alone. You can't defeat it through elections, speeches, or interfaith dinners.

You must go to its Mordor, its theology, its texts, its jurisprudence, its political creed, its doctrinal foundations, and you must burn it there.

Confront the doctrine of jihad. Expose the political blueprint. Discredit the historical narrative. Challenge the legal theory that divides humanity. Break the ideological architecture. Expose it's master.

Only then does the Ring lose its power. Everything else is delay.

The danger is not in extremism. The danger is in believing you can harness extremism for your benefit.

Like the Ring, Islam corrupts even those who oppose it. It drags the center toward its worldview. It forces institutions to accommodate its demands. It shapes the political discourse through intimidation, guilt, or demographic leverage.

The Ring does not want to be hidden.

It wants to be worn. Islam does not want to coexist. It wants to rule.

There is no path to victory that avoids the mountain. There is no shortcut around theology.

There is no peace purchased through appeasement. There is no safety in pretending the ideology is harmless.

There is no future if you refuse to confront the source of the problem.

The West keeps walking in circles around Mount Doom, hoping for an easier route. But there isn’t one.

If you want to destroy the Ring, you must go to Mordor. If you want to destroy Islam, you must confront its theology.

Yep, you read that right. In TEXAS of all places, these guys are openly saying they want to ban Americans from drinking beer or eating pork — because “Allah wants this.”

Let me get this straight: in a state built on BBQ, bacon, and beer — they’re telling AMERICANS what they can and can’t eat?

Nah. That dog don’t hunt. This is how it starts: “suggestions,” “visits,” “demonstrations.” Then when the demographics shift, it’s no longer a suggestion, it’s a demand.

Texas better not bend an inch on this nonsense. You don’t like pork and beer? Don’t eat it. Don’t drink it. But don’t you dare tell Texans — or any Americans — to give up their freedoms for your religion.

Do you remember 1987 when the Senators were giving Ollie North such a bad time? This brings it all into perspective, thought you might be interested in this forgotten bit of information.

It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt. Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!

He was being drilled by a senator, "did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"

Ollie replied, "yes Sir, I did".

The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience,

"Isn't that just a little excessive?"

"No sir" continued Ollie.

"No, and why not?" the senator asked.

"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened sir".

"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.

"By a Muslim terrorist sir". Ollie answer.

"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?"

"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir", Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. "Why are you so afraid of this man?", the senator asked.

"Because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered, "And the Muslims are trying to take over America and destroy it from the inside out and putting their people into our political offices.

"And what do you recommend we do about him?", asked the senator.

"Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."

The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore! Also: Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called, "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands.

🚨BREAKING: Iranian authorities have executed Marzieh Neyri (also reported as Marziyeh Nayeri), a young woman who claimed she acted in self-defense against a sexual assault.

Neyri was forced into marriage at age 17 under family pressure. In 2021, when she was 18, she said one of her husband’s business associates attempted to sexually assault her after drinking. She grabbed a kitchen knife to defend herself. Her husband was killed during the confrontation.

She turned herself in days later. Iranian courts rejected her self-defense claim. The surviving associate denied her account and portrayed her as the aggressor. Under qisas (retribution) law, she was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on August 8, 2026, at Qazvin Central Prison (Choobindar).

Human rights groups note she was one of at least 14 women executed in Iran so far in 2026. Her case has drawn comparisons to earlier self-defense cases, including that of Reyhaneh Jabbari, who was hanged in 2014 after killing a man she said tried to rape her.

Under Iran’s Islamic Penal Code, proving certain sexual crimes can require four male witnesses. Women’s testimony often carries less weight, and self-defense claims by women in such cases are frequently rejected.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps tried to swarm a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Strait of Hormuz today. They didn’t make it home.

U.S. Army 𝐀𝐇-𝟔𝟒 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐌𝐇-𝟔𝟎 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐬 took out six IRGC small attack boats and shot down multiple cruise missiles and drones. CENTCOM commander 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 confirmed the engagement.

Two U.S. guided-missile destroyers transited into the Gulf as part of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦. Two U.S.-flagged merchant vessels passed safely in the opposite direction.

The IRGC’s mosquito fleet is decades-old asymmetric doctrine — modernized Boghammar speedboats from a 1983 Swedish shipment, Peykaap-III fast-attack craft loaded with Kowsar and Nasr anti-ship missiles, swarm tactics designed to overwhelm a destroyer’s defenses with multiple bearings of fire. None of it works when the destroyer has helicopter air cover.

Iranian state TV claimed the IRGC struck a U.S. warship. CENTCOM confirmed no American casualties. Oil prices spiked 5% briefly on the false report, then collapsed when reality set in.

Roughly 𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 remain stranded in the Gulf because the Iranian regime decided closing Hormuz was a winning move. Project Freedom is unstacking that bet, one IRGC boat at a time.
