it's interesting that I don't rly see people bring up how dark worlds change based on who opened them in regards to the knight's identity all that much. well, I mean, okay yes I have seen people talk about it just not in the specific way I'm thinking of lol
like obviously we don't know all that much about why things actually change. but based purely on it being described as the "lighting of the mind" changing, it feels like whoever the knight is, they must be a person who is quite similar to kris in at least some respect. a similar worldview, perhaps. maybe someone who they were close to, someone who was very influential and had a large impact on their life. could be anyone really
