Those are some fun questions! Most of my answers here apply to pretty much any of my fics (past or future), but some are specifically for Afterlife only. Also, none of this is actual Hazbin Hotel canon, for anyone who might be wondering (since I’m also known as the walking Hazbin wiki by some people). Let’s see...

1. What did Husk do when he first saw Alastor sleep with his eyes open?I’d say it took him a moment to realize Al was asleep. For a second there he just thought Alastor was ignoring him, and contemplated on how offended or worried he should be. But then it dawned on him that the jackass was just sleeping like a weirdo, which on hindsight shouldn’t have surprised him at all. He just shrugged and rolled with it after that.

2. Did Alastor ever do experiments with Husk?I don’t know what kind of experiments you’re referring to, so I can’t answer this. It’d be too long-winded to list all the different options I can think of. Sorry. Although maybe this just refers to the questions below?

3. How is a cat, put a cucumber near him, or move a toy for Husk to grab it?Husk isn’t scared of cucumbers, as funny as it would be. Toys work sometimes, depending on the circumstances. If he’s the right amount of drunk or just woke up and doesn’t have his walls up, then yes, he may swat at a cat toy or make a lunge at one. He hates it. Alastor loves it. They have minor fights about it every few months XD

4. What about the catnip?Catnip works, although it mostly makes him more affectionate and slightly uncoordinated. But he also knows what it does and what it smells like, so he simply doesn’t sniff it enough for it to work if someone tries to trick him with it.

5. Does Husk throw up hairballs?No, because he doesn’t lick himself much.

6. Does Alastor collect feathers that fall on Husk?The biggest and prettiest ones, yes. And he collected a bunch of the fluffy small ones just so he could stuff a pillow with them like a dork once. Husk finds it half cute and half creepy, but he doesn’t get to judge, considering the Alastor antlers he has all over his house.

7. Can both see in the dark?Husk can see very well in the dark, because he’s a cat. Alastor can technically see in the dark because deer can, but his eyes tend to glow lightly and that screws with his dark vision. They make for good reading lights, tho.

8. Husk can see all the colors?He can. Probably not as vividly as he could as a human, but he’s mostly thankful about it because now there are less eye-sores in the world for him.

Okay you didn’t put hearts so I’ll give you one for each? Although save for komaegi expect it not to be inherently shippy.

Kiibo+Ouma: Kiibo fucking is atrocious at video games but Ouma insists on playing them with him and he’s like “why are you so bad with tech you’re a robot!” and Kiibo is like “my fingers are made of metal and not as deft as yours!” but he can’t say no to the challenge because then he loses and he needs to beat Ouma ONCE to lord it over him. also to make Ouma shut up.

Komaeda+Naegi: so Naegi’s weird luck counteracts Komaeda’s Hell Luck™ so like whenever Komaeda’s luck tries to kill Naegi, Naegi’s luck magically circumvents it. And basically the two of them obliviously go on cute dates together and don’t worry as chaos unfolds behind them thanks to their luck.

The original Karasu loves to make puns when he can, but not always. There are times where he may be disgusted by the pun or giggle, it all depends how he is feeling that day, same goes for the bitty versions.

The only marks I ever put on Kara currently, are the ones shown above. I don’t have a specific place where I put the talon marks, its just random ówò (two not being marks above, but just in case there was a mix-up with what you were seeing in previous drawings)

Ah, that part was actually supposed to mean that he doesn’t use the bathtub and submerge himself in water, because that’d make him very damn wet and take forever to dry. I think he does super quick showers at times, but as rarely as he can manage. Or he uses a rag. Regardless, he often stinks XD Lots of thick fur on a lazy alcoholic asshole is not a good combo.

I originally had a line there about him definitely not licking himself clean, but I took it off because I wanted to leave it ambiguous whether he does that at all or not. I actually think that he sometimes accidentally licks his arms and paws if they’re filthy and he’s not paying attention to what he is doing. He hates it XD Same if his tail gets wet: he’ll instantly grab it and lick it, and then realize what he’s doing and swear a blue streak.

I don’t think Alastor perfumes him because that’d just make it worse. Have you ever had the displeasure to be in the vicinity of someone who is very unclean and tries to hide it with a perfume? It’s the worst. Add the smell of old alcohol to the mixture and you’d choose death over being near them.

Yes, Vivzie has said that (in the second stream, possibly elsewhere as well).

Considering that Husk is an alcoholic, his breath cannot be pleasant either. Neither of them get to judge the other about it; they’ll just be gross together and not care too much.

Pine fragrance might work. Husk wouldn’t let it be applied to himself on any manner, but Alastor could certainly hang Wunderbaums or something around Husk’s house and he probably wouldn’t care much. On that note, he probably occasionally sends Niffty over so that she’ll clean the entire house from floor to ceiling and disinfect everything XD
