Fantastique décor sobre et efficace avec les meubles de Pierre Jeanneret, fervent pragmatique, qui se concentre sur des matériaux fonctionnels et pratiques, utilisant le teck et l'acajou indien pour leur durabilité et leur résistance à l'humidité, et intégrant le tissage traditionnel du rotin dans ses créations. Ce très beau salon a été agencé par Alison Kist. Elle a passé son temps à voyager, à vivre hors d'Amérique. Elle a travaillé à la maison de vente aux enchères Christie's, où elle reconnait avoir été inondée d'influences visuelles de l'ancien et du nouveau monde.
