Tsukumo's teaching is so confusing! Nai thinks, his head hurting a little. More so, it wasn't her teaching that was the problem--he loved her teaching, and learning, but he didn't like disappointing her. He didn't like admitting that he didn't understand after having Tsukumo already explain several times. It was too hard on her, wasn't it? It wasn't her fault that four digits, even three, were a little too much for him to understand.
This left him staring at his homework, utterly baffled. If he saw any more eights, then he might get dizzy. He looks up at the sound of footsteps, immediately breaking into a smile. Perhaps they would know? Everyone else was so smart, after all. "E-excuse me! Are you good with eights?" he pipes up, knowing that he himself certainly wasn't.
