I had an absolutely fantastic week and I was sad to leave. There’s something so special about being able to spend time with someone and just feel totally comfortable, hang out and chat or sit in mutual silence with no pressure. Even more special to be able to do that with someone who you essentially haven’t spent any time with in person and basically only talk to through messenger. Turning “internet friend” into “irl friend” sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. I have to admit I was anxious about how it would go but singing along to AVPM in the car, and staying up way too late, and going on adventures, and sitting at the kitchen table eating donuts and sharing memes... it was so fun and lovely.
