Camp Adventure Tower of @effektarchitects has recently opened to public in #Næstved #Denamrk 2019. The iconic glass-hour shape of @campadventuredk tower structure in geometry is called hyperboloid of revolution. A hyperboloid is a doubly ruled surface that could be built with straight steel elements, producing a strong structure with increased stability During the design process, various rotations and diameters have been tested to maximize the observation deck area at the top of the tower while allowing for better contact to the forest canopy.
