♔ - Their childhood

"It was okay. I mean I was just a little kid; most kids in orphanages wonder why they’re there instead of with their family but hey, sometimes it can’t be helped.”

♕ - Their teen years

”Again, still in the orphanage but at this point, I was pretty much in charge of all the young kids and shit. I wasn’t too worried about leavin’ since people rarely want an older kid either way or end up returnin’ me like a defective product from a store. Honestly, I wanted to be there instead to make sure all the kids were okay. Not everyone was strong or indifferent about the situation like I was.”

♖ - Their first friend

“We talkin’ like first friend ever or like a first bond ever? Cuz a first bond would have to be Cameron. Can’t really remember a first friend, maybe one of the orphans when I first got there. They got adopted pretty quickly though so it was a short lived friendship if ya can even call it that.”

♗ - Their first relationship

“Hooboi, I don’t know if ya can call any of them a relationship. Umm, lemme think. Nope. Sorry, I really don’t know. There’s just been too many.” He laughs sheepishly, not really ashamed but not exactly proud either.

♘- Their first kiss

“I was in middle school and she was in high school. She obviously didn’t know what she was doing but neither did I; I sure acted like I knew though. It worked enough for her so I guess that means I did it right.”

♟- The first time they knew they were in love

“The first time I knew I was in love was when I didn’t want to sleep with them, funny enough. Any time we got close to anything like that, we’d just.. stop. As if we didn’t want to move that far without establishing what we really were. Cuz we didn’t have anythin’ to label us; Hell, she couldn’t even stand me at the beginnin’! It was really cute to watch her get all annoyed and shit with just my presence. I think somehow she knew though and that’s why she was trying to keep me away and shit.”

♙ - Their first sexual experience

“It was.. awkward. messy. way too young probably. didn’t really know what were doing. I’m convinced that it had been both of our first times. She seemed like she was enjoying herself and it didn’t feel bad on my end either. It’s the same person that I had my first kiss with. I never saw her again after all until I was nineteen. It took me a while to realize that she was the same person and quite honestly, I don’t think she knew either. Then pretended not to know me. Cuz of a teenaged pregnancy. Of course she couldn’t tell me since we didn’t even go to the same school.”

♚ - Their first experience with death

”Probably during a stupid stunt of mine. I can be a little reckless sometimes. I’ve never gotten hurt ridin’ my motorcycle or drivin’ my car. I’ve worked too hard to get those nice things in my life. I ain’t tryin’ to wreck those. Maybe when I stole that police cruiser. That was fun. Was pretty recent though so that wouldn’t classify as my first.”

♛ - Marriage and Wedding Ceremonies

“Before I met the love of my life, I didn’t believe in that. The only good thing weddings were from was to be crashed if I didn’t know the couple, which I usually didn’t. My friends don’t have weddings, let alone significant others. Marriage was a waste of time too. Though now, I can see through a different perspective.”

♜ - Having children and Parenthood

“I love children. I love children so much! Children light up my life and give me life. I would love to have my own whether it be by natural causes~ or by adopting. I could do both and that way some kid out there gets a home and doesn’t have to think that they’re not good enough for nobody.”

♝- Growing Old

“Never really been an issue for me. When I’m an old man, I’m still going to be attractive as fuck. I’m still going to be me.”

Elsus stumbled into the bathroom, he grumbled. Why.. why did everything seem so much higher than him? God, his body felt all out of whack. What was up with all these heavy feelings on his chest?!

Lowering his hand down to relieve himself, he realized that there was nothing there. Looking down at his hands frantically, all he saw were a familiar pair of hands. Elsus rushed over to the mirror and quickly noticed that his reflection was not his own.

“Haven!” His voice came out in a higher pitch than his own, covering it with a twitch.

What on Earth had happened?

Returning to the bed, he huffed annoyingly to see his body laying there in a pool of drool. It sure didn’t seem cute when it was his body doing it. Then again, his vision of Haven exaggerated some.

“God damnit, Haven! Wake up!”

Elsus merely laughed, taking Haven’s hands into his own.

“Oh do you now? I think.. that’s a good feeling.” He mumbled, leaning in to Haven’s face. 

Elsus played with Haven’s hair as they laid together, only half watching some movie that had came on. He wasn’t even sure what they were watching if he had to be honest. Most of the time spent doing the movie had been talking, making out and even a little bit of dry humping. For whatever reason, they didn’t break out into full-on sex.

“I’m sure it is possible. I.. don’t have any examples for you but who needs it? I know I love you.” He mumbled softly, giving her a small kiss on the head.

“Or. You can tell me where your car is and we can attempt to pull it out of the mud with my truck.” Elsus spoke without even looking up from the counter. No one got to drive his truck, mostly because Andrew refused to drive anything that required a V8 engine or just too huge for him to feel comfortable parking.

Looking up from the couch with a stack of cheeto puffs stuffed in her mouth, she got a little startled. When the hell did this woman come into the apartment? Gunnar hated it when she brought people over along with her that he didn’t know or without a heads up at least.

She spoke to her as if she was supposed to know who she was. Alison..? The name didn’t ring any bells; had she missed something? Crunching on the cheetos, she figured she needed to clear her mouth before speaking.

“I’m sorry.. uh.. How did you get in here? Do.. do you know Gunnar?”
