There are two ways to respond when sin is exposed: God’s way and the world’s way.
Scripture calls us to pursue truth, justice, repentance, restoration, and protection for the vulnerable without delighting in destruction (Micah 6:8; Galatians 6:1).
The world, however, is quick to celebrate collapse, mock, condemn, and demand that everything be burned to the ground.
The difference is revealed by the fruit. If someone’s response is driven by malice, hatred, vengeance, and delight in ruin, it is not reflecting Jesus.
Followers of Christ must learn to discern not only actions but the spirit behind them.
We must refuse to confuse righteous judgment with a hunger for destruction.
God alone is the ultimate Judge and Defender of His people, and because Christ has already overcome the world, our victory is secure in Him.
