Heyyyyyy! So I made my very first reference sheets ever JANWDKSOXKSOKCODXK
I know im slow on updating my Fusionfall AU fic on AO3, so to make up for it a bit, have these references I shipped up for the seriesβ 2 main characters!
It makes me so happy seeing these 2 properly lined & colored like this.
& it hopefully helps out future readers get a better idea of what these 2 look like!
Of course, Jacket Demongo WILL appear later in the fic, but for now, we only have Small Wet Catβ’.
Iβm so excited for the future of Magic & Machines! I know I donβt have the best track record when it comes to NOT abandoning AUs, but this oneβs had a special place in my heart since I first conceived it, & I wanna see to it that this story one day gets finished, even if it takes several years to do so.
Wanted to draw Demongo in the comic's style. I noticed Andy Suriano (the artist) used tree bark like empty lines to break up Aku's pitch black parts, so I added them to Demongo too. But instead of Aku's evil ent look, I went for more of a talking scarecrow vibe.

Got bored and doodled demongo from memory for old times sake (ignore hong lu)
Finally finished this. Had to scrap an almost finished full body aura farming version cause the composition felt boring, but I'm really happy with this one.
