Former Obama administration speechwriter Jon Favreau said Saturday that Democrats will likely never know whether keeping President Biden on the top of the ticket is the wisest decision, but he warned of the “huge risk to democracy” that could ensue if Biden decided to step aside.

“The challenge is, we just don’t know — and will likely never know — if nominating Biden is riskier than letting Democratic activists and insiders pick a lesser-known and potentially weaker general election candidate at the convention with three months to go,” Favreau wrote on X.

Dear Mr. President,

We don't care about the economy.

Stop focusing on the stupid economy.

You know who cares about the economy doing good? Wall Street. Billionaires. Elon Musk.

Americans don't care about the economy. You know why?

Because we're going hungry! We're losing our homes! We're losing our jobs! We're dying everyday from COVID and gun violence! Women just lost their rights!

And your reaction is to say "Shucks, sorry ladies- please vote for me, though!", beg congress to do something, and then run off to Europe to smile for photo ops?

Why are you smiling in Europe? What do you have to be happy about right now? God, you're so out-of-touch, apathetic, and tone deaf... you and the entire Democrat Party are out of touch with the people you like to call "voters".

Stop going on about the stupid economy. We. don't. care. The economy doesn't serve the American People- it serves the very rich. Why should WE care about whether the RICH are happy with THEIR economy?

They don't care about us, but you want us to care about them? Why?

Are you OUR President, or are you the President of the billionaire class?

We're going on a General Strike.

Tell the billionaires they better get ready to go broke themselves (for ONCE in THEIR lives).

We, the American People, refuse to continue to be slaves to the billionaire class.

The economy can go f**k itself.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear. The people responsible for Trump, for Kavanaugh for the whole goddamn mess are liberals not republicans. Do you remember the 2016 elections? Because I sure as hell do. And do you know what I remember? Pretentious spoiled liberals who went out of their way to shit on Hillary at every goddamn opportunity. First it was as a way to support their twisted idol Bernie then purely out of spite. And this was not just a few isolated cases. No this was a goddamn epidemic on this site with countless people going on about how they would write in Bernie or vote for third party candidates.

And you know what happened? Hillary lost the election BECAUSE PRETENTIOUS SPOILED FUCKERS LIKE YOU VOTED FOR THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES. Yes this moronic attitude is what let Trump win the election Don’t believe me? Here have some fucking FACTS

And sure this would have been bad enough on it’s own but you know what’s even worse? These people didn’t learn, they never show any regret or shame for helping Trump become President with their childish attitude. No they all pretend that it was not their fault. That they did nothing wrong and they still continue with this attitude. Blaming everybody but themselves. Pretend that the system is rigged , that the republicans are cheating and so on  as if this somehow makes their own actions better in comparsion.

And this is not the first time this has happened. You disgusting slobs did the same thing to Obama. The man did every goddamn thing in his power to help your lazy entitled asses and you idiots couldn’t be bothered to vote in the midterms and actually help him. Instead you let the Republicans tie his hands. So here is the deal. If you didn’t vote for Hillary in the last election it’s your fault. if you supported in any way the assholes and russian trolls spreading the third party candidate b.s it’s your fault. If you whine how your vote doesn’t make a difference it’s your fault. If you were one of those pretentious asshole who’s “conscious” couldn’t bring themselves to vote for a problematic candidate like Hillary it’s your fault. If you have ever uttered the words Hillary was just as bad as Trump it’s your fault.

Of course, it's possible that the two Democrats were joking about the situation. TheBlaze reached out to both officials for comment about the exchange, but neither have yet replied.

Even if they were joking, however, it's unlikely that such an excuse would satisfy Pennsylvanians, who have been living under some of the harshest coronavirus restrictions in the country.
