If you’re schizophrenic, it’s hard to prove you’re “really trans” to doctors. They’ll call it a delusion and refuse to help. I hate it, because so what if it is?
If someone believes wholeheartedly that they are a different gender, delusion or not, shouldn’t that be respected? In that moment, they ARE the gender they say they are. I know how delusions feel, and I still remember how mine feel even coming out of them. They’re real to the people experiencing them.
This is anti neurogender.
The way delusions are treated, like, at all in society is genuinely disgusting.
I know there’s more I can and maybe should say about this, but I’m tired. But maybe I’ll come back to this topic someday.
