On August 16th Advent will be having its first annual anniversary party, celebrating and commemorating an amazing first year of business!  As an advertising, entertainment and event company, party planning is our area of expertise.  Ergo, all in attendance can expect nothing short of a spectacular night that will have people talking until the 2nd annual anniversary party!  To help make such a noteworthy evening happen, some of Advent’s unbelievably talented friends are coming out for the big night at the Underground Arts.

To date, we are lucky enough to have, starting from the top and going left to right, Dell Harris, White Mike O.Z„ DJ Aktive, Suga Shay, DJ Daily & Tommy G the drummer from The Starting Line, Love Megan T, The Racer and Ginger Coyle.

Dell Harris is a multitalented rapper who infuses indie dance music with hip hop for a charismatic, captivating sound.  He has worked with globetrotting DJ/producer DJ AC Slater, collaborating to make the positively reviewed, well know mixtape “Right Now”.  Since then, Dell has released a follow up, “Right Now II”.  Check him out at

White Mike O.Z. is our in house rapper!  He has worked with up & coming producer Mad Beats from West Philly and in 2005 White Mike O.Z. was recruited for a VH1 pilot show.  He’s rocked the mic for the hottest clubs, parties and radios in Philly and has had his songs on Wired 96.5, Power 99 and 107.9!  Here he is at

Dj Aktive is a DJ celebrity and a west Philly native.  He has appeared in Teen People Magazine and has been the DJ for some of the biggest names in music and fashion.  To name drop some of the most impressive, John Legend, Busta Rhymes, Mario, Jay-Z, Tyga, Marsha Ambrosius, Nikki Minaj, Kanye West, Nas, and JoJo.  He has also appeared on everything from BET to David Letterman to Jimmy Kimmel to VH1 and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  Check out more accomplishments at

Suga Shay is power house dub step DJ that has taken Philly by storm.  She was introduced to the world of DJing by DJ PHSH and her career was pushed along by Regina ‘Gun$’ Garcia and Dirty South Joe.  She’s had the chance to work with, among many others, Diplo, A Tribe Called Red and Flufftronix, through her residency at Mad Decent Mondays.  She can now be found at TIGERBEATS and Main Street Bar & Grill.  See more at

A dynamic duo, DJ Daily & Tommy G from The Starting Line have created an interesting genre all their own .  They have combined Tommy G’s amazing drum skills and DJ Daily’s incredible spinning talent into one impressive sound.  DJ Daily is a well known beats master all of over the city and with The Starting Line, Tommy G has toured the world, headlining Vans Warped Tour and reaching #1 on Billboard’s Heatseeker’s Chart.  Check more at

Megan Thomas is the new sensational indie pop singer/ songwriter from Atlanta, currently attending Georgia State University for her bachelors in music technology and production.  She is under the direction of Dot Bustelo and has been featured in his Beatport Sounds Electric Chillwave sample library on itunes as well as the pop page of itunes for her hit single ‘Stay Tight’ featuring GoDreamer.  Love Megan T is finishing her album ‘Dream Pop’ and will be releasing it in fall 2013.  Check out more at

The Racer, formerly known as Stuedabakerbrown, is the rare incarnation of the modern independent band whose creativity parallels its pop appeal.  The Racer’s successful album ‘Strangers We’ll Become’ has lead to numerous professional endeavors such as having one of their songs on MTV’s The Real World: New Orleans, The Jersey Shore and The Challenge. Last but overwhelming not least is musical genius Ginger Coyle.  The amazing singer/ songwriter has been signed to two major record labels as well won numerous talent competitions and dominated industry showcases.  Impressively enough, Ginger also made it to the blind auditions of NBC’s The Voice.  Her truly inspiring lyrics and original sound has won her a special place in Advent’s heart.
