Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup macaroni salad. 1 cup home fries. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup yellow mustard. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. While the burgers are cooking, heat the home fries in a skillet or oven until they are crispy and golden brown. Warm the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two until they are slightly toasted. Assemble the Garbage Plate Burgers by placing a burger patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top each burger patty with a generous scoop of macaroni salad and home fries. Sprinkle diced onions and tomatoes over the home fries. Drizzle ketchup and yellow mustard over the top of the stack. Finish with the top half of the bun and press down gently to hold it all together. Serve hot and enjoy your Garbage Plate Burger!
