These Candied Bacon Cinnamon Rolls are the ideal balance of sweet and savory. Classic cinnamon rolls are given a delightful twist by the crispy, caramelized bacon, which makes them an irresistible treat.
Ingredients: 1 can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. 8 slices of bacon. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Place bacon strips on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake bacon for 10-12 minutes until it starts to crisp but is not fully cooked. While bacon is baking, in a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon to create a glaze. Remove partially cooked bacon from the oven and brush both sides with the cinnamon glaze. Return the bacon to the oven and continue baking for another 5-7 minutes until it's crispy and caramelized. Remove bacon from the oven and let it cool. It will harden as it cools. Meanwhile, open the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls can and place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the cinnamon rolls according to package instructions. Once the cinnamon rolls are done, let them cool slightly. Take the candied bacon and break it into smaller pieces. Top each cinnamon roll with a piece of candied bacon. Serve warm and enjoy!
