魔術 ------ She had been on her feet for days, and the lack of sleep or any form of rest was now catching up with her at break-neck speed. ‘Just a little farther’. It had become a sort of mantra, at first uttered to lift her spirits and trick her body into thinking that the journey was almost over. But now, as she took the final steps up to the door of the small office, her limbs and nerve endings screaming in protest, she knew that saying those words weren’t going to cut it for much longer. With a shaky hand, she reached out for the door handle and gave it a push, following through with the doors natural swing before her body gave out, crumpling on the floor beneath her.

“ I am starting to think that maybe memories are like this dessert. I eat it, and it becomes a part of me, whether I remember it later or not. ”

Stuff it for a hot second, fam, while I inform the world about your greatness bc you honestly deserve it.

Okay, but y’all, serious. When he’s not being a total meme ( there are moments, what a surprise ), he’s so compassionate & a true caregiver. I thoroughly respect him & it’s been an honor getting to know him over the last few weeks. 

There’s so much I don’t know about him yet, but I want to. And there’s so much I’ve actually, for once, felt safe sharing with someone-- with him. I feel like I want to be a better person around him, & I understand how hard work goes a long way, but I’ll burn myself out if I don’t relax. I’ve learned how to stop taking myself so serious & that there’s nothing wrong with liking to play in nature, wish on stars, enjoy hugs. Oh, and definitely remember the importance of food. 

Food is so good. Naps beat those, however. But only by a little. 

So I wanted to make something that reflects all those things-- because each day is a new memory made, another reason to smile. And I don’t have to feel guilty anymore. 

a sinking feeling plummeted in her stomach, the mantle aglow with the keystones brightness, unlocked a small tremor beneath their feet. smooth transition from surface to the bridge of the temples beginnings, aeris drowned in the wave of emotions that flooded from within. the sentiments from earlier have been pushed away, as right now her focus became everything within this temple. rushing away from the team, arms opened to embrace the ambiance of her people. their voices preserved some language she did not fully understand, roseate lips gape with inhale, the awe of this place having taken her breath away.

     ‘ i can hear them, cloud! i feel everything they are feeling... ‘ indescribable, her whole body felt oddly strange yet so calm. fingers tingled, her heart raced excitedly, wide-eyed viridiscent glimmer captured the immense sensation of her wonder. 

     the maze of staircases entwined in paths that appeared like tangled knots, it would be a puzzle of frustration but to aeris it would be a test of proving. retreating back to their small group the maiden is dedicated to this challenge ‘ this will be tough, but i know we can get through this. ‘ determination spoke out confidently in her tone, with the help of cloud on her side, how could they fail? their teamwork proved them an unstoppable force.
