“Aw man, I was hoping for a 7.” She teased the other and worked herself up to hop over the fence. She followed her, watching the water softly ripple at Lena’s touch. The water was a luxurious blue, reminded her like a recreational version of the military base pools. The heat was no stranger to Hana but a nice cool pool was never an invite to turn down.

A quiet moment, Amelie enjoys the silence of her nook in the upper levels of Gibraltar. A few electronics scattered around the room stripped of parts and she’s laying down on the couch, fiddling with something new. She looks over the schematics and groans slightly at the shock from the pendant she receives before it decides to catch fire.

It’s her fault, and she should be able to fix it better than what she’s left with. She smothers the gear with a pillow and trashes it before heading down to retrieve a med kit.

Of course, it would be Lena who finds her. The woman insists on helping with the burns on her fingers. “It is fine, I do not even feel it” she tries to protest, but the pilot is too hard headed to know when to choose a battle. So Amelie hands her the kit and sits, letting the other talk as she looks out the window and firmly away from her.

Angela’s eyes opened and she offered an apologetic smile as she regarded Lena. She had dozed off for a second, but Lena’s voice had drawn her from her restful state. “Ja, I am.” She murmured, it was obvious she was only half awake. “Es tut mir leid, I did not mean to make you zhink otherwise.” She shifted, resting her head on her palm. “You vere saying?”
