It was Tracer and Reaper. Her bright and happy and energetic personality and His Dark, Angsty, and Evil/Anti-Hero personality seemed like the perfect opposite attract kind of relationship plus the both of them dual wielding guns was cute to me.

But as time went on, there only one piece of art of the pair was all I had to keep the ship and Emily’s reveal completely sunk it.

Well, since Tracer is officially a lesbian, I ship it platonically :3 So I answer it like that, hope that’s alright~ 

Who asks the other on dates: Both inviding each other on fun platonic dates! 

Who is the bigger cuddler: Tracer! Also steals his hoodies because they are super comfy. 

Who initiates holding hands more often: Genji. So Tracer doesn’t run or blink away, into a wall or whereever. x3

Who remembers anniversaries: Hm… I think Tracer would rather keep track of any anniversaries. 

Who is more possessive: No one I think. No reason to be possessive. 

Who gets more jealous: Tracer, because Genji got dat ass~ But Tracer’s got a fine butt as well. Booty fight, anyone? Okay, no seriously they wouldn’t be jealous of each other. 

Who is more protective: I kind f see Genji as a big brother to Tracer, so I think he’d be more protective over her.

Who is more likely to cheat: No one cheats here. They stay friends. End of discussion. 

Who initiates sexy times the most: no. 

Who dislikes PDA the most: I think both do not mind PDA. 

Who kills the spider: Genji gonna Ryujin wo ken o kurae that poor little spider. xD

Who asks the the other to marry them: Probably a stupid bet where they said they marry each other after a certain tme if they can’t find a partner for life. And I think Tracer would be the one to remember that bet. 

Who buys the other flowers or gifts: Tracer’s getting Genji little trinkets and cute key chains and stuff like that~ x3

Who would bring up possibly having kids: Hm perhaps both would’ve talked about the idea of adopting a child. After they married each other because of the stupid bet. x3

Who is more nervous to meet the parents: Tracer. For sure. Wouldn’t even know what to say or how to behave, because hey what if she accidently insults his parents should she ever meet them? 

Who sleeps on the couch when the other is angry: Genji. And I don’t think he really minds that. 

Who tries to make up first after arguments: Ah, both for sure~ 

There has been some chatter going around about the state of the Tracer/genji ship or better known as deja-ryu; will it still be around? Is what a small number of people want to know. I can not speak for @the-original-chiptooth on the manner but I can shed a little light on the situation from my point of view being directly tied to the creator himself.

My motivations for wanting to end the ship almost entirely stem from fear. Honest fear. Fear of community back lash,fan witch hunts, doxing, or the ultimate end via. having the blog removed due to reporting. All those things directed at someone I love who has done nothing but open his heart,mind soul to all that ask it. Wanting to express openly as everyone should.

I feel a looming presence that I am seen as bad/evil/ oppressor/ enabler/ or promoter simply to being straight/hetero/ cishet or whatever else people wish to call it due to the actions and pain so many people before me have caused. Espically here on tumblr which tries to promote its self on equality, love and acceptance.

Believe me I am happy that tracer has a girlfriend and that this announcement has made so many people so happy. However the reaction people have to combat the supposed "cishet gamer bros" has been a little concerning.

It’s scary to think that fan art can be so powerful that it can drive people to do things good or bad.

Will people heckle me, spread hurtful things about me, go after people important to me simply for going against the lore?

We are lost and confused as we don’t know what is the best course of action. Do we stay and continue on knowing that tracer is confirmed to be gay and erase that side of her for our own happiness? Only to have people think the worst of us and scale us on par with their straight oppressors? Run the risk of triggering people? Receive hate mail on a constant bases and attempt to push further damming our efforts?

Or do we accept the news with grace, retire the ship and fade out quietly as to not cause anyone harm or distress while at the same time preserving our quiet existence on the site?

It’s a tough choice to make and we really don’t know what is the right one.

I’ve seen everyday people go down for less,is this tiny ship that only a few like really worth the trouble?

Everything seemed so quiet up until yesterday as there were so many ideas and ships being shared of all creeds, sexualities and ideas.I felt good, everyone could express themselves openly with out fear and the occasional pettyship hate mail or two (nothing serious). However now I feel the risk has increased.

It was hated and targeted by mercygenji and widowtracer from the start which was some what bothersome however,do we want to risk being hated by an entire group of people who have it rough as it is simply for wanting to express their love openly as everyone else with out fear as rightfully should. And accept being called bigots,homophobic, or worse?

I can't even stomach the idea that I would be directly tied to something like that.

Its not finished as there was a huge background prepare for this but I see no point in completing this now. or anyone of my other works I wanted to post.
