Xonvek the Pale

Former Patron Loa of the Hollowshade Tribe of Dark Trolls situated in the mountains of nearby Darkshore.

Some former terror, an afterthought of the Black Empire hidden deep inside the crust, Xonvek was found by a small group of dark trolls seeking shelter from the war on their kind. Pulling them deeper into the caves it granted them knowledge and guidance in exchange for living bodies. Sacrifices. 

An unkind Loa he kept his followers on the ropes. Only providing them enough substance to live, and barely a life at that. At least until the Cataclysm. The wrecking of Azeroth sent tremors deep underground, urging the reclusive dark trolls to the surface where they found darkshore under siege by the Horde.

Xonvek forbid them from interacting with the Horde, fearing the loss of his willing servants to outside forces. But they didn’t relent. A small band of dark trolls left the caves, greeting and trading with the bewildered Horde forces for knickknacks and food. But it was too late. When they returned they found pain and suffering as a dark hex burned through the tribe, withering and killing all who encountered it.
