(deity meme) a 1000+ piece LEGO® set
If my Muse was a Deity, what Offerings Would you Leave at Their Shrine? My muse will react to whatever items you leave for them
While the tutor-body had the most dexterous appendages, it was her salvage-self that was most excited. Look at all the tiny pieces!
She decided to play a game with herself - the construction body was given the box and had to guess which pieces went where while the salvage robot assembled them.
A few hours later she rolled back to inspect her work. The other bodies sent applause through Aggregate's network, a job very well done indeed.
Could she beat the time for the largest model ever built?

SACRED STONES/GEMS: (natural) blue topaz, sapphire, moonstone, alexandrite, brightgold.

FOOD: buuz, dried fruits, spicy dried meats, trail mix.
SCENTS: petrichor, fresh air after emerging from a cavern, summer breeze, levin, campfires out in the wild, busy taverns at night.
ACCEPTED OFFERINGS:
honey wine. the quicksand’s wine is a common offering to those seeking something new and different from what they have - leaving a bottle of the drink by the foot of your bed is rumored to give you the courage needed to make a change when you wake the next day. mistress momodi’s business has become much more lucrative as a result, and oftentimes she can be found pouring out a mug and emptying a seat in the crowded quicksand to honor the deity of lightning.
umbral levinshards. rumors say that those who travel with a levinshard necklace will be saved from those seeking to harm them, their path laid forth by thunderous storms and mysterious heroic acts that take those who would harm away from their path. these shards are in high demand with merchants and adventurers, though it is rare that the shards found in ishgard’s diadem ever make it into the hands of those found undeserving or corrupt. it is traditional for retired adventurers to hand down their levinshard necklaces to those they wish to have carry their legacy, adding a bead of any of the lightning deity’s sacred stones to the chain. necklaces found on deceased warriors are to be brought to a sacred jacaranda tree that is constantly surrounded by a rainstorm growing in the outskirts of ul’dah and hung on its boughs to honor their death. those who steal these necklaces are often not seen again after the next thunderstorm.
forget-me-nots. it is traditional for children to wear corsages of these flowers when forging out into the world on their first journey, the folk legend suggesting that these flowers mark ones in need of minor protection when they wind their way into the world. folk legends that these corsages give their bearers an affinity to lightning and the ability to give shocks with their touch.
protecting children in need, birds, or those seeking their own redemption is not spread or told to be a true way to honor them - not because it isn’t, but because it would only promote those interested in currying this deity’s favor to do such things for that sole purpose. these acts, when done not in the search for glory or favors or divine assistance, will always attract them to your side whether you truly need their help or favor in the form of small comforts: a minor fortune stumbling your way, a new acquaintance you might come to cherish more than anything, a favor returned by another just when you need it. their blessings are as fickle as lightning and may as easily be turned against one as it was given depending on your actions.
blood. as with most deities, there is always a darker side to the light. those seeking revenge or redemption against those who have wronged them may leave a vial of their blood in an enchanted glass bottle alongside a blue topaz at the site they were born, oftentimes summoning a raging storm to said area as a final warning. a sibling who lays a vial of their blood by the grave of a deceased sibling may find the shadow of a gigantic yol in their tracks until their wish has been fulfilled.

Deity Meme II - Falerin Arcita
I did this meme a long time ago, but then @tsukikotanshi did a version of it that was so beautifully detailed and imaginative that I wanted to add to mine.
DIVINE PRESENCE: Once mortal, Falerin Arcita was a bard and a mage, known to be of mixed race, mixed culture, mixed beliefs and mixed emotions. As a result, he is a god of many things and no things simultaneously. He has no clergy to speak of, but he offers solace to the lovelorn and the heartbroken and aid to struggling musicians and reluctant mages, as well as those who wish to atone for having hurt a loved one with misguided actions or harsh words (abusers don’t count.) Most prominently, he aids those who abandon tradition and pretense in the name of compassion.
Those he has aided say that they received his guidance in the form of a deep voice softly humming a tune in their mind that empowered them with the courage, creativity, or humility they needed to do what needed to be done. No one can ever quite place what the tune is, but they always describe it as familiar, comforting and impossible to duplicate. Some who needed a more tangible form of help report having received aid from a stranger of a marginalized or persecuted group, who was later nowhere to be found.
ORIGINS: In life, Falerin proved adept at the Allagan art of summoning, able to channel the destructive aether of the long-dead dragon-god Bahamut. However he was unique among Summoners in that he felt remorse for doing so, believing such aether to be tainted by the great wyrm‘s pain and suffering. It is in this spirit of atonement that he sought out and befriended Bahamut’s mate, Tiamat. Though his mortal life was over in a mere instant to her, she called him a friend, and likened him to her beloved sister Ratatoskr, who also delighted in kindness and song.
A dragon cannot elevate a mortal to godhood or even bestow eternal life - else the tale of Hraesvelgr and Shiva would have had a happier ending - but perhaps Falerin was different. Perhaps those years spent in the presence of Tiamat and channeling the aether of Bahamut bestowed a bit of divinity on him. Or perhaps his wish to pay penance for the deeds of the summoners of Allag inspired his guardian goddess Azeyma or even Hydaelyn herself.
Whatever the source of his divinity, altars to him are found in public places where various buskers, streetwalkers and outspoken small folk gather. Most incorporate a public fire pit, which people are encouraged to use however they see fit - teens having impromptu bonfire parties, couples enjoying romantic firelight trysts, children roasting marshmallows, and even homeless people burning trash to stay warm are all welcomed. These altars are marked with the image of a torch, widely agreed upon to be his symbol.
ASSOCIATED WITH: The gentler, more benevolent aspects of fire (particularly as a torch) dust motes floating in afternoon sunlight, sea breezes over sand dunes, short-lived love affairs, creative endeavors involving music and words.
SACRED PLANTS: Valerian (the source of his mortal name) and the red poppies found growing on many islands in the Cieldalaes. He is also associated with the “Warden’s Torch” - a hardy variety of red-orange rose believed to have been bestowed upon the world by Azeyma when the world was young.
SACRED STONES/GEMS: Red and blue corundum, though he places equal value on more humble stones, particularly ocean and river pebbles, carved bone, sea glass and anything that is smoothed and well-worn - whether by time and the elements or an artisan’s skilled hands.
SACRED ANIMALS: Bees and butterflies. Parrots are also said to have his favor because of their bright colors, sociability and gift of gab.
COLORS: Deep red and dark teal, often said to represent the heart of a fire and the depths of the ocean - two opposites of equal importance.
FOOD: He does not approve of food offerings - since he would rather food go to feed people and not gods. That said… Honey, green tea, wild mushrooms and acorn cookies.
SCENTS: Ocean air, leather, musk, bonfire/fireplace ashes.
ACCEPTED OFFERINGS: The aforementioned stones, colorful feathers, empty notebooks, a song or story in written or spoken/sung form (bonus points if its original, even if its bad.) One “joke” offering that has caught on with his followers is pairs of smallclothes. If Falerin is displeased with this, he has yet to show it.
However, the offering of choice for those that pay homage to him is a blanket or wall decoration made from scraps of leather or cloth that were too small to be of use and would have otherwise been wasted. They are always handmade by a person seeking his guidance, or by one seeking to invoke his protection for another. While simply making and keeping one for oneself will curry his favor, it is considered the greatest of deeds to give one as a gift to a homeless or otherwise down-on-their-luck person.
I'd summon them with hot topic clothing
any offering will simply summon them...
