Prince Kravitz of the Astral plane, his squire Barold, and the Twins of Balance from the deities au.
They’re attending the ceremony for Kravitz’ official promotion to Commander of the Astral Military - the force of Reapers charged with maintaining the laws of death in the realms - and the position he was born for. Barry was top of his class in Reaper cadets, therefor earning the position of the Prince’s squire. Lup runs into Barry in the crowd after and, bored with mingling, they sneak off to the kitchens together to get at the good snacks.
