Continua la Esperanza de la Accion Diferida en la Corte Suprema
Este Martes, 2 de Diciembre, la corte suprema le dio una pequena pero importante victoria al Presidente en su pelea para otorgar a millones de personas lo que les prometio en Noviembre del 2014.
La Corte Suprema se nego en darle a Texas y los otros estados la extension de tiempo que pedian para someter sus argumentos en contra de la accion diferida.
Ahora tenemos que esteperar otra buena noticia, que sera aproximadamente en Enero, donde la Corte Suprema decidira escuchar el caso. Si es asi, la decision final, que esparamos que sea favorale, se espera para Junio del 2016. Esto quiere decir que la administracion del Presidente Obama por fin hara realidad su promesa en abrir la puerta a aplicaciones para la accion diferida.

Court’s Decision on DACA
On April 7, 2015 the 5th circuit court UNANIMOUSLY decided to dismiss the lawsuit concerning the initial 2012 DACA program. This is the same court that will hold a hearing this Friday the 17th to decide whether or not the preliminary injunction blocking the President’s initiatives to expand DACA and pass DAPA (for parents) will be lifted. Stay tuned for that decision.
