This painting was a visualisation of what I think it’s like to dream. My dreams are always disconnected and nonsensical, almost like watching scenes flicker from one to another. In a way, it reminds me of being a passenger on a train looking out the window as the view goes by.

We don’t really have control of where we go or what we dream, so we sit aboard the train each night and watch wherever it takes us. It’s in these few hours when we sleep and dream, that we seem to no longer be bound by the limits of the real world, but instead become passengers to our subconscious, riding along with the waves of our imagination.
