i didn't know how to cope with what i was. i didn't know how to deal with what Section 31 did to me. all of my time with them was divided into training sessions & experiments. but when i found Deep Space 9 & made it my home, i suddenly had free time i'd never had before. i wasn't used to freedom & i got into a lot of trouble as a result. Dr Bashir had to pump my stomach a few times because i drank too much. im sorry i made you all worry abt me - Astrid #ππ πππ‘

Deep Space 9 was the closest thing i had to a home and im so, so grateful to Captain Sisko for protecting me from Section 31. and thank you, Odo, for teaching me how to be a shapeshifter... even though we were different, having someone else who understood my struggles meant everything to me. honestly just thank you everyone.

i miss DS9. i miss the family i found there. i miss everyone and everything about that life so much it hurts.
being young sucks. iβm tired of being clueless and scared. i miss being oldβor at least the memories making me feel old. i chased after it back then. from jadziaβs remnants, to benjamin, to julian, seeking to revert to a more competent state. it never happened, of course, you change but you can never become someone else. maybe it got better with time. maybe it *will* get better with time. i donβt know.
