If you like actually reading, and enjoy books with adventure, thrill, suspense, and action, look no further. Sterling Blue’s debut novel is the kind of book you can’t put down once you start it, and you’ll be eagerly awaiting the continuation of every cliff hanger and chapter. This novel is a tasteful combination of everything you’re looking for in a dystopian based world- an original plot, complex characters, plots not solely based on a crappy love triangle that offers no advancement in plot, and suspense that will leave you hanging off of every word. As someone who has read this amazing novel, I can assure you that it was one of the most enjoyable books I have read in a very long time, and this is coming from someone who has struggled to read a book all the way through and actually enjoy it. This book is not just about a world gone mad, but delves into the complex emotions and experiences the characters face as they come to terms with the world they know falling apart around them, and how they struggle to accept that they must change themselves to survive in a world opposite of their own. If you desire a book with deeper meaning than Twilight, then I highly recommend reading This Isn’t the Zombie Apocalypse.
