Zagreb based Alen Simple debuts on EP with "Lovely Paranoia" and this is backed up with two quality remixes. Alen became interested in music from a young age, by 1999 he was creating his own mixes which led him to secure a spot at the infamous DMC Club. He went on to host his own events at many clubs around Croatia and since he started producing he has seen releases on labels like Hand Job Records and Kulture Room Records.

The Original Mix is full of all the deep tech flavours you'd expect to see from Eyepatch these days. Big chunky kicks are matched beautifully with a rhythmic percussion section. The bass is a huge throbbing affair that will give any speaker the shakes as it pulsates its groovy rhythms. On the break we are treated to a classic vocal sample that always captivates every time you hear it. Great debut here and a taste of what this guy has to offer.

Croatian DJ and producer deepAlexander aka Sasa Skrobar is on the mix with his No Kidding With Matrix Remix. Cool, deep flowing vibes are what this track exudes from start to finish, the drum arrangement is top notch with percussion belting out awesome rhythms. The deep bass meanders along shoring up the groove brilliantly. That very recognisable vocal sample makes a showing here to great effect, top stuff.

French producer Ollie Viero is a self taught musician having started to play drums at just eight years old. He played in various bands for around twelve years before embarking on his engineering studies. 2004 saw him become attached to EDM and soon he landed deals with a few labels like Fur Trade and Xela Digital. Here he compliments the original with a truly sublime remix. Tight arrangements and hypnotic rhythms with the bass taking a lot of focus. Superb percussions shine through and is a testament to Ollie's early career as a drummer. On the break very subtle melodies come through as a lush pad sweeps across the spectrum before getting right back to a solid grooving track.

Croatian born DJ and producer deepAlexander aka Sasa Skrobar debuts on Green Martian with a stunning three tracker, "Timeloop". Sasa began clubbing at 16 and soon after he had the music bug and he started to buy his first records. He landed residencies in various clubs around Croatia and played at outdoor festivals including Exhibition. 2011 saw Sasa produce his own sounds and has released a few tracks on Hand Job Recordings, and with much more to come this guy is one to watch.

"Timeloop" intros with a cool chunky clipped kick and is soon followed by some classic hats setting off a fantastic flowing rhythm. The big focus on this track is the simply wonderful retro sounding synth bass, so basic yet extremely effective as it transports your mind back to the great old days. A rising pad adds contrast to the sound while a cool melodic arp provides a very progressive backdrop, top stuff.

"Drifting" takes a deeper progressive house direction with a superb rolling bassline from the off. Tight kicks and sharp hats build the flow with soft synth stabs taking us to the break where a myriad of sounds come together beautifully. A gritty, edgy feel comes out of this groove and makes this a must for any jock.

"Deep Inside" continues with the deeper house vibe, again we see Sasa's skills in the arrangement with super charged kicks and crystal clear sharp hats. The bassline is a huge feature on this track, it winds its way through the sound mesmerizing as it goes. On the break those synth chords really get the track moving and we settle into a strong progressive ride, top notch!
