Moon Base to be built by Russia and United States - The space station will be named “Deep Space Gateway”, and will be used as a hub (or rather, lunar space port) to travel our galaxy, e.g., manned Mars missions and beyond. While the ISS is “only” 400 km far away from Earth, this Space Station will be 380,000 km far. The Earth will be seen only as a very tiny dot. The first modules will be out in space between 2024 and 2026.

I wonder who you on your phone with. You've told me I'm the one you can't stop talking to. That I give you butterflies when you see my name pop up. But, I see you online and not even one word has been said between the two of us. You left me here thinking about the two of us. If it's real or all in my imagination. Why can't you talk to me. Boeing’s proposals for NASA’s Deep Space Gateway and Deep Space Transport

NASA goes over their SLS/Orion plans for building a Deep Space Gateway around the Moon with ISS partners and commercial partnerships.  EM-3 through EM-9 build up and test the outpost in preparation for a possible mission to Mars orbit (perhaps with a Venus flyby)
