After rumours circling for a while within grime goon circles, the news came through a few months back that Novelist has left The Square to forward his individual sound. For a second I was worried… Not because I thought The Square would fade into obscurity or Novelist’s sing along bars might have a few less people chanting in the back of a crowded pirate station. No, I was worried because it all looked far too nice. A couple of The Square boys stood in the back of Novelist’s latest video, come on lads. Not to worry, my faith in the hostility of the grime scene has been restored, DeeJillz has kicked of the war dubs with a very strong and by no means indirect send for Novelist.

Surely Novelist can’t ignore this.
