The skyscraper loomed before him, rising up as a testament to human achievement (as well as human greed and pride). Fitting considering what was located here. Perez Industries. Known for everything from knocking down rainforests, polluting rivers, to possible (but never proven) organ trafficking. They were a rather controversial company as one could imagine, compounded by the sheer amount of charity work they also undertook. It was also the company that Leon would be interning at. He has applied here more on a whim than anything, thinking that if he was accepted, he could use it as an opportunity to get to know the inner workings of the company. Know thy enemy and all that.

He was rather surprised he was even accepted, considering how selective the program was. He wasn’t a bad student by any means, and his resume wasn’t unimpressive. But… well his disdain for the company may have shown through during various stages during the application process. Was it an accident? Not really. Leon didn’t do accidents. Was it a good idea? Also not really. As said though, it had been a whim more than anything. He had applied (and been accepted) to a variety of nonprofits located in NYC, not having any illusions about his actions. Once he had gotten his acceptance to Perez Industries though… well as he said: know thy enemy.

          At this point Alana is having a hard time keeping her composure. It was QUITE easy to push the Good Doctor’s buttons, but normally, she was much better at keeping herself under control. But for some reason, he just seemed to know EXACTLY what buttons to push to make her forget herself entirely---------------------it was either him or the fact that she was incredibly hungry.

          “ I don’t think I have one big enough to CONTAIN your ego. ” she snaps, once more. Though she is angry,  and it can be seen in her facial features, her voice is EERILY calm.

are you putting on the movie or the cartoon?

{ uhm...neither? you know it’s a musical, right? and one which featured a tony performance introduced by sir anthony hopkins, no less! }

{ disney has made some serious bank in the world of broadway by adding in a handful of musical numbers, slapping a “based on the movie!” label on it, and shipping their property into the wide world of theatre. beauty and the beast and aladdin in particular have been runaway hits, long preceded by peter pan (which was huge in its day and has mellowed waaaaaaaaaay out since). there’s things like the little mermaid and tarzan now, too--of course the monster that is the lion king--mary poppins, newsies, aida...they’re threatening us with frozen now...the jungle book...the hunchback of notre dame. still no hercules but since hond came out i’ve been hopeful. nice, big, long, proud tradition.
