evil wikipedia au: first of all...what is it. i think i missed when you first started talking about it so idk whats going on. and what inspired it?
it’s for locked tomb/gideon the ninth. it’s uh, inspired by: i like the concept of, like, evil old bisexual swingers, but i don’t really want to write in that specific universe, so i am writing a like, modern au fanfiction about them, but it’s set in the 70s, and they’re all evil fleetwood mac (thanks jj for this concept),

I think the extent to which it exists in like the books works for me, I think K being a fucked up parallel for Ronan also being tied up in Ronan’s repression about his sexuality works very well and was a good move from Miss Stief! More importantly though I think its very funny how weird people get about it
i am drawn to boyking teen dad. whats going on there?
this is a very new idea and not very far along at all, its mostly just something i kick around in the back of my head BUT! boyking teen dad is a ya fantasy idea i have abt a prince that is rude to a witch so she curses him w infertility, which initially, seems fine bc hes like the 4th son. unfortunately by the time he’s 16 his parents and all his brothers are dead. luckily for him a spring breeze turns into a baby and he adopts her as his daughter and heir immediately. he refuses on principle to marry bc he knows his theoretical wife would be blamed for his infertility which would be bad news. so now he’s a boyking teen dad!

hi <3 i would say eye strain covers stuff with really bright/neon colors or high contrast, stuff with glitch or distortion-y elements, and anything that’s intentionally hard to look at like eye puzzles, optical illusions, etc. looking thru posts on here that are tagged with eye strain might also be helpful just to get a sense of what types of posts could fall under that tag !

SELF HELP i literally just dont believe it. i cant believe people read those on purpose. that shit feels too much like the fake medicine you could get at those traveling patent medicine shows in the olden days. it does crack me up when i look at the book section in thrift stores and they’re just full of them though

theres a lot i find irritating about blue sargent but unfortunately i cannot recover from a) going through a half-baked discourse phase in my early to mid teens which gave me the exact temperament she has in those books and b) literally, literally having grown up around self proclaimed psychics and witches who all gave me the same prophecy independent of one another at a young age. like unfortunately i cannot bounce back from that i might as well kin her

honestly i know ive talked on here about how much im thinking of ending things by iain reid freaked me out but im nervous to reread it and find out its actually not all that. like i know a lot of people have had a good time rereading it and finding a bunch of early foreshadowing they didnt pick up on the first time around but like. what if i reread the only book thats ever made me too freaked out to fall asleep and find out its actually pretty lame

at a bar the other night i invited two yuppies (is that a word we use anymore? i don’t care) (one without eyebrows, one in a blazer @ 12pm) to sit with us bc they were drinking red wine in a sports bar and they were already crowding our table and there were two empty seats they made very bad guesses about where i’m from based on my accent and ditched us when we wouldn’t do karaoke with them. sorry, boys. but they were already tipsy when they got there & there was no way we’d agree on a song and there was no way i was gonna catch up to them in time to put myself through that
