So there’s a classical music piece called Orpheus in the Underworld. Sounds impressive, right? Well, it’s this. The can-can music.
And there’s another one called Entrance of the Gladiators. Dramatic and thunderous and calls for a minor key, right? NOPE. It’s the circus music.
How about the Liberty Bell March? Admittedly through no fault of its own, it’s the Monty Python theme music.
And of course there is the Faerie’s Aire and Death Waltz, although that’s not so much ‘mislabeled’ as ‘the musical equivalent of the label on a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Soap’.
.... look, what I’m saying is that we need to balance this out a bit. I want a classical piece on par with the Imperial March or Mars, The Bringer Of War, and I want it to be named something on the order of Mr. Plibbles Can’t Find His Cheeseburger. It’s the only way to set things right.
