Orion (aka Optimus) and Blackarachnia soon find their prodigal son, convincing him to join the Decepticons. Quite successful.
Bumblebee does not immediately change his name, nor does he immediately receive the Decepticon signature. At first, he just survived among the giants, doing small errands. But Bee is known for his impatience, he wants everything here now. Resentment against the Autobots fueled his enthusiasm, so he desperately looked for ways to get stronger.
He makes a deal with the Decepticon medics, and gets a special admixture of energon, which, in theory, should have made him faster and stronger.

However, new capabilities allowed him to successfully complete several missions after which he becomes Decepticon and changes his name to Murder Hornet (also change his look)
Usually, emotional outbursts occur during aggression or fear. The stronger the emotions, the greener the eyes. When they are completely green, Hornet cant control himself and becomes a real devil with a complete lack of an instinct for self-preservation. It is quite difficult to calm him down, but you can if you cool his body sharply, for example, pour ice water over him to sober his mind.
Also his stingers become more weapons than tools - definitely more dangerous than Bumblebee's

Blackarachnia and Hornet had a special bond from the beginning. When they were both Autobots, Elita was a foster mother for little Bumblebee, together with Optimus, she raised him as her son. After the incident with Optimus and Sentinel, Blackarachnia held a grudge against the Autobots, but not against Bumblebee. He had nothing to do with her trauma.
It was also Blackarachnia's initiative to find Bumblebee, after she and Orion learned of the young mech's exile.
She proved to be quite a protective mother, which helped Hornet stay safe among the aggressive society. However, Arachnia (as Hornet calls her) is still angry with Orion, so Hornet has to run between the two
technically, Murder Hornet is the son of a divorced couple
Also, Blackarachnia was EXTREMELY opposed to the relationship between Blitzwing and Hornet. So much so that she was the reason the two of them got together.
