Monthly intention center is one of my favorite journaling activities. I use @daniellelaporte and #coredesiredfeelings to connect to my intentions for the year and month. Each month I set intentions based on my core desired feelings. When a new month begins, I usually start with reflecting in the previous month: how I felt, what worked, what didn't work, where I felt my core desired feelings. I then review my intentions from the previous month. From there, I just free flow write what I want to focus on for the next month. Honestly the first few comes pretty easily after reviewing my past month. I usually set anywhere between 5-8 intentions and as I get towards the end of my list, I slow down and ask myself "what do I really want to focus on this month? What can I do to make me feel the way I want?" I journal because it makes me feel good. It's part of my #livegoodfeelgood lifestyle. It also helps me tune into my body more. I teach my clients verbal journaling prompts so they can get better in tune with their body. So here are my december intentions: 1. Perfect the art of tuning into my body. 2. Learn how to better protect my energy & DO IT. 3. Embrace the holiday spirit & enjoy it: joy, cheer & generosity 4. Trust my gut--> let your intuition speak 5. BREATHE. STOP & BREATHE. 6. Read more and enjoy it. 7. Find joy in the little things 8. DREAM BIG: you deserve it.
