She was being careful. She was watching the sky and the snow around her like any child that grew up in pre-Dragon Campaign Mille Seseau. Habit that had been ingrained in her mind forced her to watch the weather in case a blizzard crept up upon the pair.
Rose was not prepared for this. She wasn't even sure that this could be called a blizzard, for it was far more violent and windy. Decadus and Rose only barely made it into what seemed to be a hastily made storm shelter before the door was blocked by snow. Only Soa could tell how much was blocking them from the outside world, and Rose wasn't about to waste her time and energy trying to find out. Sweating was dangerous in these temperatures because it would freeze on your body and kill you.
It was both a blessing and a curse that she was trapped with another. A blessing because it was someone to keep her company, but a curse for the same reason.
Rose stood at the mouth of the bunker, her head turned to face her 'guide through the mountains.' She could see through the darkness, and his features were quite clear to her. However, she couldn't speak for Decadus. "Is there anything for us to make a fire with?" She asked, knowing that was priority at the moment. With a fire, they could melt the snow away from the entrance and escape.Â
If not, well, they didn't exactly have a light or heat source, and Rose would sooner sacrifice her blade as kindling to keep her warm than snuggle with a stranger.Â
