What do you when your #decadeendsbuild goes awry? You do a different one! The good news is that my second round of enamel painting went better than my first, I'm getting the hang of thinning to the right consistency and I'm feeling positive about Gourai turning out nicely. The bad news is that, due to the enamel drying time, I didn't have a hope of finishing on time. However, I still wanted to finish one more build before the year was out, so I decided to go with something simple and finish off Veetwo. I love the colours on this kit, so I knew I didn't want to do much to it, just panel lining and detail painting. It was my first time using Tamiya liquid panel liner and I was a little wary of using it on bare plastic, but thanks to good advice from @dutchgundambuilder I didn't have any major issues. Really pleased with the final results and it felt good to get something finished. Whenever you're stressed about creative projects, it's always good to step away from the problem and refresh yourself with something fun. Assorted pieces drying for my #decadeendsbuild. Unfortunately, my enamel experiment is not going well and I highly doubt this build is going to either be done for the end of the year or look good. The 24+ hour drying time for the enamel paints doesn't help. Here it is, my #decadeendsbuild! My first ever non-Bandai kit and second non-Gunpla. I think these are really cute and the options and cross compatibility across the Kotobukiya ranges really appeal.
