This is an Apollo roleplay blog centered around Epic the Musical.

In no way is this blog critiquing or making fun of Hellenistic polytheism. I hold a great respect for people who follow that religion, but know that I am not one of them. I am not well-researched on Greek mythology beyond Epic and my Apollo will not be accurate to the myths. I hope this does not offend any helpols.

This blog has an ongoing story SEPARATE FROM MY AU. My AU is the Domestic Family AU. The ongoing story is the ApolLess AU, whichfeatures any asks coming from “nameless”. This thing has homoerotic "subtext," so eat your heart out. Their ship name is ApolLess, so I’ll tag every post a part of this story #apolless (so long as I remember to) so anyone can easily find and follow it. Here's the community for it.

Headcanons: Apollo is a furry, Apollo is slowly going blind and runs face-first into things a lot, Hermes likes to crossdress, Odysseus and Polites were a little gay for each other, Athena and Artemis are aro/ace, everyone hates Apollo with few exceptions (Zeus, Athena, occasionally Artemis, etc), Apollo has a liking for Odysseus because of his archery skills among other things, Apollo is a bottom, Apollo helped raise Hermes, Apollo bites, Tiresias is genderfluid

Sofia: A child created by Apollo and Ares using Telemachus’s DNA, made to be the ultimate warrior by having all of Ares and Apollo’s power, Athena’s mentorship, and Telemachus’s compassion, “born” a few months after Odysseus’s return to Ithaca, Telemachus’s age -21

Kalosemnos: Sofia’s little brother, made from an abandoned wolf pup Apollo found in the forest, has the gift of prophecy but can only see a few minutes into the future (though with 100% accuracy), has brain damage, can steal anything and get anywhere, Telemachus’s age -27

Melanie: Hermes and Tiresias’s daughter, Hermes created her from himself and a tuft of Tiresias’s hair, properly has the gift of prophecy, magician with girlish whimsy, blind, Telemachus’s age -28

Pelagia: Daughter of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god of lakes, beaches, and sharks, chaos child turned calm adult, Poseidon gave birth to her, only Apollo could handle babysitting her, Telemachus’s age -30

Photogene: The older of Apollo and Telemachus’s twins, Hermes obsessed, cheery and energetic, looks the most like Apollo out of her siblings, Telemachus’s age -31

Melicharis: The younger of Apollo and Telemachus’s twins, Dionysus obsessed, generally serene and level-headed but likes to party, nonbinary, Telemachus’s age -31

Hope: The baby Ody was supposed to drop but make it a girl, Athena’s daughter pretty much so Apollo’s niece, coexists with Lyra but not with Sofia and the others (Lyra is the overlap in the Domestic Family AU and Hope universes)

This is a little blog for an Epic the Musical OC of mine.

So low-key her lore is complicated, but basically, Ares and Apollo got together and decided that, after what happened to Odysseus, they couldn’t have any more mortal warriors who didn’t know whether they should be merciful or ruthless. So they took Telemachus’s DNA and made themselves a mostly mortal child with their combined godly strength. They chose Telemachus so the kid could be related to Hermes for his godly power, be mentored by Athena for her strategy, be raised by Telemachus with his compassion, and have Odysseus and Penelope as an inspiration. She was created a few months after Odysseus's return to Ithaca and she looks exactly like Telemachus.

This universe also includes my friend’s OC Lyra, who is Hermes’s daughter by asexual reproduction. She is Telemachus’s age and the goddess of apothecary work. You can find her at @lyras-holy-moly and Hermes himself at @dawlingsitshermes
