Tiresias is a history major specializing in Mycenaean Greece, with an English minor. They work at the front desk of the library, kinda keep to themself, and have freaky good intuition. They have Stargardt disease, so they lost their vision as a kid, hence their lovely service dog (currently unnamed). They also have focal impaired awareness seizures that lovely service doggy also helps with (I’m mirroring what I think their prophecies look like here because my buddy pointed out the way I write their visions is similar to seizures). They’re intersex because intersex Tiresias is so so crucial to me.

Hermes is a communications major because his dad made him get a “useful” degree and was the one paying his tuition, so he picked whatever he thought was easiest. He’s almost never in class but somehow keeps decent grades, knows everyone on campus, and has a habit of stealing from big corporations. He’s got spinal stenosis and is an ambulatory wheelchair user, and is a major part of disability advocacy on campus (in his “if you don’t think this is a problem, I’ll make it your problem” sort of way). He’s got a lot of interests so it’s hard to pin down one but he’s very into linguistics and knows a ridiculous amount of languages.

They move in together as freshman in the dorms, and halfway through the semester Hermes dad cuts him off for something or other, and now they’re two broke college kids just fucking around and trying to get by.

And they’re dating. Obviously.
