I just want a ghost that looks like a moth. Yes my hunter has a ghost named moth.
Line work of my patch from yesterday. It’s all fabric paint, pattern was loosely based from an old Victorian plate, but given my own twist. :D I want to make another one for a canvas groceries bag.

I’ve been very creative lately, from last month’s beaded bracelets to long leather duster earrings, making patches to painting on little canvas clutches. It’s been a while since I sat down and made so many things at once.
I see this as a sign I’m healing, time is working it’s magic and I’m getting my spark back. I’m not rushing it or anything, just going day by day. My vacation maybe another factor too, it’s only a week away now. I’m very excited, I’ll be seeing my hometown again and the various places I camped out up and down the coast. I’ll get to see one of my friends too, I have a bunch of stuff I want to give for her birthday. Some handmade, some bought.
A major project I want to work on is getting a small lightbox and putting photo slides across it, so when I turn on the light, I’ll see photos my parents took back in the 80s, when I visited my first national parks, like Yosemite and the Red Woods. And if I can, I want real life photos of my travels this year too to put in albums or turn them into postcards.
Sometimes I make art as a reminder for myself.
This deathhead moth is one of my favorite drawings from 2022. I added it over the words I've heard in my almost 50 years of life from men who hurt me and other women to women victim shaming other women.
I can't take pictures to save my life, but here's my first tattoo of 2018
