from what i can make of the plot, nemesis manages to escape the dying age of apocalypse universe and immediately has beef with japan for some reason(was that a thing in the comics? i thought they were in chicago or something) and teams up with deathbird to brainwash its leaders, so naturally professor x sends over the 2 xmen associated with japan; psylocke and logan. upon hearing about this, nemesis ends up brainwashing sabretooth(who was working as a ninja secret agent), likely somewhat due to their past in the aoa dimension, and sending him after them

which probably ends up like this(to unbrainwash him i mean, not the rebrainwashing bit)-

personal speculations -> cuz of the similarities of logan n vics outfits, i assume they used to work for the same agency. logan did his usual move of ditching vic due to moral differences, ending up at the xmansion….maybe it was also the usual girl motive move and he ran away with psylocke, which could lead to some complications if they were to go up against nemesis together

the phrasing of it being a ‘secret agent’ type thing makes me think it was connected to the government, as to why nemesis couldve had easy access to vic

i can see this story ending with logan needing to make a choice on whether he stays in the place he feels is home, or go back to the xmansion to the people he sees as home. vic would wanna stay, seeing as he doesnt have any other better job choices, and urges logan to join the agency again. psylocke urges him to return to his actual family, and to move on from his past
