Immortality has played a central role in my books so far. In my forthcoming book, readers will again make the acquaintance of immortal beings. But what does it really mean to be immortal? Contrary to popular belief, the vampires, werewolves and witches in The Night is ours are immortal, but that doesn't mean there isn't a way to get rid of them. Their hearts are just as susceptible to suffering and sorrow as those of mortals. Unfulfilled love is arguably one of the deepest pains one can feel. Death does not take them even after centuries of existence, but inwardly many of them are already dead. What about you?
