I only started reading TBHK back in July and got caught up with the printed mangas quickly enough to then read the chapter that got posted on August 17th when it came out. The 8/17, 9/17, and 10/17 chapters were good but what we just got for 11/17 is something I was not expecting. It's been awhile since I was part of a fandom that had something major happen in real time. The devastation and awe the chapter made me feel had me rushing to tumblr and for once, I was able to share in all these feelings with everyone else as it was happening. It's something that may or may not go unappreciated it by many, but I love it so much.
One part I really loved in chapter 120 is when Nene called for Hanako to help her and adult Amane felt something upon hearing that. It also snapped Kou out if it enough to save her. The world's are overlapped in some way, but then again, this could also be what real deja vu is. When you feel like you've been there, when you've done that, when you've heard that, even though there shouldn't be a way for all that in your current world.
I don't know if everyone will remember the events that took place in this world they're in now, but I bet the feelings will remain. Kou may still be alive when they get back, but Teru is not going to forget. Not completely anyway. And many people pointed this out already, but this event does tie the Yugi brothers to the Minamoto brothers now. Maybe the only way Amane was able to eventually save Tsukasa's soul was to become what he is now, and maybe Teru will have to do the same.
Because let's not forget that Hanako had that whole thing with the big clock tower and how he was trying to fix it and he couldn't go outside until he did. Akane said they need to get back to the school to rewind time and make things right. I dunno if the clock is going to be broken, but this could be where Amane's luck ran out in his time...because he couldn't fix it.
