Synopsis:
The year is 1967, and 25 year old Jenna “Sea Breeze” Rogers (Amy Adams) moves from her hometown in Colorado to the heart of San Francisco in order to be part of the ever-growing hippie movement. However, when Jenna runs out of savings and out of luck, Mrs. Hamilton, a wealthy, snobby philanthropist takes her in and offers to put her up in the spare room for a meager rent, to Mr. Hamilton’s (David Tennant) dismay. Despite their differences, Jenna and Mrs. Hamilton find that they are more similar than they could ever imagine, forming a close bond over their shared secrets. Meanwhile, the free-spirit, boy-next-door, Jamie Turner (Neil Patrick Harris) romances Jenna, tempting her back into her carefree hippy lifestyle.
