Here's the progress photos of the DFH tribute me and my dad did. It started off as a Matte Black MLX First attempt the black fade line was too low.. So my dad repainted it and move the fade higher up the body. Then we remapped the lightning on it.. I then airbrushed the lightning on And my dad sealed it all with a lacquer. Decided not to make a relic DFH out of this one as gluing the neck in and chopping a Floyd in..and rerouting the toggle switch was too much of a task on this. Plus the wood itself feels very fragile. If I get my hands on a 79 reissue hardtail I will definelty go for a complete relic of how the DFH looks today.
