Georgia O'Keeffe's Ladder to the Moon (1958) is on view in our seventh floor collection galleries :: Whitney Museum
O'Keeffe wrote, "At the Ranch house there is a strong handmade ladder to the roof . . . One evening I was waiting for a friend and stood leaning against the ladder looking at the long dark line of the Pedernal. The sky was a pale greenish blue, the high moon looking white in the evening sky. so theres this band i like called deadeye dick, and it’s recently come to my attention that my favorite album of theirs is not on spotify. in fact they only have one album on spotify and it’s not even their most popular one, which has a song on it that was like #27 in like 1994 or something so they’re not unheard of but
i google them and GOOGLE’S BARELY EVEN HEARD OF THEM! they have like one (1) half-assed wikipedia page guys this is driving me fucking nuts
